Swimming Lessons: Fees

Other lesson lengths can be discussed but will be charged per half hour rates e.g. 45 minutes will be charged for an hour due to the pool hire fees I pay.
Certificates and Badges
The price of lessons includes the cost of the certificates/badges awarded to students as awarded annually.
I will be working towards Swim England Awards for swimmers (e.g. ICAN, Learn to Swim Stages 1-7, Rainbow Distance etc.)
The cost of this is included in the lesson fees. Rest assured, there are achievable awards for all!
Payment and invoicing
For ease, I use an online invoicing system and especially to help those who are using Short Breaks funding. The electronic invoice is sent to parents and they have a record of the lessons the student has had as proof for funding providers.
Please wait to receive an invoice before paying for the lesson. I do not accept any cash payments.

I am happy to write a letter of support for your short breaks funding application with Rachael once I have had a few lessons with your child to establish how I feel their swimming lessons need to be adapted to support your child’s needs. I charge £40 per letter.
Block bookings
I am happy to offer block bookings for lessons but you will need to tell me that you wish to do this prior to me invoicing for the amount. I will ensure that I keep a record of the number of lessons taught though I encourage you to do the same.
Cancellation
If a lesson is cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson time then the full lesson fee will be charged. This applies regardless of the reason for the cancellation including sickness.
If you know you are going to be away for holidays etc. then please provide me with as much notice as possible. This is so that I can offer some temporary lessons to another student on my waiting list.
Due to the waiting list and keeping things as fair as possible, I cannot hold lesson slots for people as I have in the past. If you are likely to miss several lessons throughout the term, please let me know and I can try to fill the slots in advance.
Late attendance for lesson
If the student is late for a lesson then only the remaining part of the lesson time will be taught. There will be no partial refund and the lesson cannot overrun.
